Using Lackey, a Brief Tutorial:

LackeyCCG is in middle of development but his beta version maintains almost unchangeed his basic functions. Bellow it follows a summary of those functions, with everything that you and your friends need to know to play on-line for the first time. Loading a Plugin on LackeyCCG

There are 2 different ways you can tell LackeyCCG what plugin to load. You can do which you think is easiest for you.

You can:

A) Open the prefs.txt file with a text editor. (Don't use Notepad, use WordPad if you are on a windows computer). Edit the first line to say "megaman" instead of the default plugin name "war3000". Save it, and launch LackeyCCG!

As long as the first line says:
PLUGINNAME:megaman
it should work.

OR

B) Launch LackeyCCG and hit the Preferences tab on the top right to see the Edit Preferences Menu. Then type "megaman" in the first field and hit the Load plugin: button to the left of that field. Lackey may close then. The next time you launch LackeyCCG, the MegaMan TCG plugin should be loaded.

Creating a Player Profile

To set your player profile, hit the Profile... button in the game stats window (left down corner). Enter your name, your avatar image file (excluding ".jpg"), and your color and save.
(PS: you can put a customize avatar into LackeyBetaWin\images\avatars\ directory.)

Creating and Loading a Deck to Play

To edit (and load a deck), hit the Deck Editor tab. Now simply add the cards you wish to use to your deck, from the bottom to the top. To do this, you can either:

A) Click and drag the card to put it in your deck.

OR

B) RIGHT CLICK the card you want in your deck and click +1 or +4 or +10 buttons to add that many of the selected card to your deck.

Once you have finished a deck, name it in the title box, SAVE IT, and then load it to your seat (the Deck Editor tab will close, backing to the Game: not connected tab window, where the table is.)

(PS: If your plugin has "radom booster packs" suport, just hit Open Packs button and RIGHT CLICK into the empty space at the bottom screen to pick a booster. Then hit Add Packs button and proceed the same ways (A or B) as above to create your deck. For more info about how to install a "radom booster packs", see Random Booster Packs)

Hosting or Joining a Game?

To play a game with someone, one of you host and one of you join (one or more players can join one same host, to play or just chat and/or observe the game.)

TO HOST A GAME: Under the Main Menu (which is above the table) scroll down to Start Hosting Game.... Hit Refresh to find your IP number and tell it to your opponents. (You can find it too at the main page of lackeyccg.com in red.) If you are behind a firewall, you may not be able to host. In that case, have your friend host and you join him.

TO JOIN A GAME: Under the Main Menu (which is above the table) scroll down to Join Network Game.... Type in the Host's IP address. (Lackey uses Alt+c/Alt+v to "Copy/Paste" texts, and not Ctrl+c /Ctrl+v as for the most Windows's programs). Then hit the Connect button. The opponent finder server (Server: not connected tab window) will be working in a future version of LackeyCCG, and is almost done. It also has built in proxy servers, so if you can't connect to a friend, wait until the next LackeyCCG is out.

FINDING AN OPPONENT USING THE SERVER:
